Can Aldon Sealers Be Used Outdoors? Yes, all of them with one caveat discussed below.. Because of our reputation, and knowing that all our products will be used under conditions outside the product specifications, we cannot produce a product that is touchy to use and won't stand up to a wide spectrum of abusive conditions. They are all being used outdoors in the varying extremes of weather and temperature conditions in hot desert areas like Phoenix, and freezing mountain areas like Montana. Sealers for "indoor use only" or "not for flooring" on the label are less expensive to make and will not last like Aldon's. Caveat: A "coating" "film forming" type sealer does not penetrate below the surface. Therefore the bond is only a "mechanical" bond with the surface. Not a penetating and mechanical bond that is below the surface. If you have lots of rain and water pooling, it is better to go with one of the penetrating sealers.
Note:
Most Aldon sealers have more than one area they can be used in any project. Check sealer information on the web site. |
